Are your marquees waterproof?
Absolutely. Every marquee in our range is completely guaranteed to be waterproof, including all joins, windows and connective vinyl between marquees.
Will it be warm enough?
Every marquee warms up once people are inside and the party is in full-swing. If you are planning an evening event, we do recommend marquee heating. Marquee heating can be hired to ensure your guests stay warm all evening. We have a range of heaters to keep any sized marquee warm. Our marquee heaters can be found on the accessories page.
How long will it take to build?
The length of time it takes to build one of our marquees will depend on the size and complexity of the marquee hired. Be sure that we have the best crew in the North East building your marquee. A rough estimate of the build time will be discussed. If you have any time constraints, let us know when booking your marquee and will do our absolute best to accommodate.
Do you provide furniture?
We have a wide variety of furniture for hire to suit any wedding, garden party or family get-together. This includes chairs, tables and staging. Furniture can be hired as part of your marquee hire package or hired separately. We can deliver anywhere within the North-East. If what you’re after isn’t on our list of furniture or accessories, we will almost certainly be able to source it.
Can we have electrics?
At Covered Events, we have a huge variety of lighting and electrical equipment available for hire. Electrical items can be hired as part of your marquee package for your event, or hired separately. We have every aspect of lighting and electrical items that you could want for your wedding or party covered. All electrical items are PAT-tested and installed by a Covered Events electrical specialist.
Can you build at my venue?
Covered Events covers the entirety of the North East. Including but not limited to: Bishop Auckland, Darlington, Durham, Hartlepool, Gateshead, Middleton-in-Teesdale, Sunderland, Stockton-on-Tees, Washington, Gateshead, Houghton le Spring, Jarrow, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, South Shields, Sunderland, Whitley Bay, Washington, Alnwick, Beal, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Corbridge, Hexham, Lindisfarne and Morpeth.
